4 Cases of Primary Gastric Lymphoma Treated with MACOP-B Chemotherapy

Abstract
|
|
|
Primary gastric lymphoma is a rare disease, and prognosis is better than that of
gastric adenocarcinoma. In general, treatment is surgical resection with a radiation
therapy ,or a combined chemotherapy as adjuvant treatment.
Many reports present that surgical resection improves the response rate and reduces
the incidence of bleeding and perforation after chemotherapy.
In recent studies, it was reported that the complete response and survival rates were
similar in those who underwent surgical resection or only combined chemotherapy. We
treated with MACOP-B chemotherapy in 4 patients diagnosed primary gastric
lymphoma. 3 patients had good result without surgical resection and 1 patient underwent
total gastrectomy due to ulcer perforation during chemotherapy.
